Discover one of the oldest known mathematical puzzles, developed by the famous Greek mathematician Archimedes about 2,200 years ago.
The puzzle consists of 14 pieces of various shapes, and the challenge is to combine the pieces to form a square. Mathematician Bill Cutler determined in 2003, with the help of a computer, that there are 536 unique ways of assembling it into a square shape. Despite that, it's hard to find even one. How many do you think you can find?
When not in use, the puzzle serves as a decorative piece, enhancing any space you place it. The frame is made of lacquered MDF, and the pieces are crafted from FSC-Certified Pinewood.
